Norwegian Cruise Line Pulled Out All The Stops Introducing Its New Ship
When Norwegian Cruise Line throws a party, it really goes all out. International superstar Pitbull was only one of the big name attendees at the first of many parties that took place onboard the Norwegian Getaway.
Seen among the partygoers were notable names such as Tito Puente Jr., the cast of Burn the Floor, DJ Tracey Young and the Trendtracker Tara Gilani, Miami Ultra, TV personality Louis Aguirre and D’Angelo & Amanda of America’s Got Talent. Artist David “LEBO” Le Batard (whose work is featured prominently on the new ship) was at the event as well.
Pitbull introduced his signature Voli brand vodka to cruisers. The Norwegian Getaway and the entire Norwegian fleet will feature the beverage. Pitbull was seen sipping a “Volito,” his personal take on the classic Mojito.
Everyone in attendance seemed impressed and excited. In fact, Travel Planners International had employees in attendance, and the consensus was that the event was a cut above the norm. One employee said, “The ship was beautiful and the interior had bright colors with a Miami fun free feel. You felt the vibe and spirit of Miami on the ship. There was a surprise around every corner. The cabins were very spacious.”
Of course it’s hard to go wrong with an event of this caliber. As one TPI staffer said, “What better way to sail the Miami inaugural with a Mojito in your hand while listening to Pitbull?”
In fact, the only complaint from one TPI employee was “The cruise was too short of an experience – only 22 hours from embarkment to disembarkment. (Who wouldn’t want to stay longer with so much fun?)”
The bottom line is that next time you’re thinking about a fun-filled vacation, booking a trip on “Miami’s Ultimate Ship” through Norwegian Cruise Lines will be an adventure you won’t soon forget.
