Millennial Moms Are Using Travel Agents to Book Family Vacations

Millennials moms, do you remember your last family vacation? Did you plan it yourself?

If you like most take charge moms; you probably didn’t ask for help with planning your family’s trip. You probably spent hours online sorting through travel websites, trying to makes sense of the information. You may have even stayed up late to make sure you got the best deal, accommodations, excursions and more.

If this sounds like you, you’re not alone.

But what if you could take the pain out of organizing family vacations? Can you imagine having your trips planned? All you’d have to do is think about the fun family cruise vacation or trip to Europe you, your spouse/partner, and your kids will experience.

The Relationship That Can Give You More Time with Your Family

According to new research conducted by TNS Global for the American Society of Travel Agents (ASTA), 22 percent of Americans from households earning more than $50,000 booked travel through a travel agent. It’s an increase from 14 percent only three years ago. Millennials are booking travel with agents!

Of the millennials polled, 45 percent said they’d recommend a travel agent to a friend or family member. About two-thirds said using an agent makes their travel experience better.

It’s no surprise that millennial moms are using travel agents for their family vacations. Why? Because it takes one more thing off of their To Do Lists. And if something happens – like you don’t get the connecting suites you requested – you have someone to call to fix the issue, especially when your kids demand your attention.

When you use a travel agent, your millennial family can enjoy being treated like VIPs. If you book your own vacation, you may not know how you and your family can move to the front of the line at a museum. Or how you can get front-row tickets to a popular concert or show – travel agents can make sure you don’t miss out on fun and exclusive excursions.

It’s okay to let a travel agent plan a unique, immersive travel experience for you and your family. Imagine visiting Italy where everyone enrolls in a cooking class to learn how to make pizza. Or maybe your kids hang out with Dr. Seuss on Carnival Cruise Line or Sesame Street® characters at a Beaches Resort where they’re not only educated but entertained at the same time. What parent doesn’t want that?

Your time is precious! Instead of sorting through mountains of travel information, wouldn’t you rather spend it with your family at the park? Or maybe you could get that massage you’ve put off for months. The choice is yours!
